HISTORY

Niki Samson was born and grew up in the small town of Sacksville, New Brunswick, Canada. She had an eventful childhood. One sunny summer day she was hanging out with one of her girlfriends on her girlfriend’s porch. Their parents had given both of them new dresses. Her girlfriend comments they didn’t have any place or excuse to wear them. Niki then got idea and suggested they could go to church and they did. A few months later Niki accepts Jesus as her Lord and Saviour after a church service at 10 years old. She faithfully continued to grow spiritually and relationally to that church. After high school Niki decides to major in journalism in university and get top marks in her class. Upon graduation she receives and accepts an offer to work for a top newspaper in Toronto, Ontario as a reporter. Within a short space of time they promote her to being one of their top reporters getting national and international assignments. Niki gets sent on assignment in Saint John , New Brunswick to cover a story on Insecto. While on the way there she visits her grandpa Brown her mom’s dad. Little did she know that her grandpa had been married to a former secret superhero of world war 2 known as Student Whiz. He explains that he lost here to a freak blizzard in the Canadian arctic in the late forties. During grandpa’s prayer time God had instructed him to pass down the Student Whiz legacy to Niki and he does and she is shocked by the revelation. She continues on to St. John and has adventure team up with Insecto and on her way back home she visits her grandfather and he helps redesigned the costume and takes on the name Powerwoman while in costume
