HISTORY

Mary Weir was just an average young woman working herself through university. One stormy night she had to go out to get some milk for supper. However she was unaware that her neighbor Charlie had left his getoblaster out in the courtyard by the pool and in her hurry she ended up tripping over it. At this she falls into the pool face up and then lightning strikes her. The next morning she wakes up face up in the pool. Upon waking up she gets out of the water and goes up to her apartment to dry off and change her clothes and then she went on with the rest of her day. The next few days went the same. Then she went to a local Christian dance club. Then while she was walking home a gang of thugs grabbed and surrounded her then demanded her money but as she struggled to get free she suddenly started shooting bolts of electricity. One of the bolts hits one of the thugs knocking him out. The rest of the thugs then fled the scene. Still wondering how she could have shot the electricity she makes her way home. Deciding not to worry about till the next day she goes to bed. Then that night in a dream an angel from God comes to her to give her a message telling her God had given power over electricity and for her to use it wisely. She then wakes up pondering how to use her new found powers wisely. She quickly comes to the conclusion that the best way to use her powers would be to protect people from crime and other things. At this she begins to practice using her new powers till she has them some what master them. Then she make her costume and in midst of her first caper she dubs herself Electide.

POWERS AND SKILLS

Mary has no hand to hand combat training. Her powers are energy based, manly electrical thou and thus through the manipulation of the electricity she can perform many tasks such as changing her hole body into electricity and traveling through wires and manipulating her size, erecting electrical force shields and partly turning in to electricity and blasting downwards giving her the ability to fly.
